We aim to be an ethical site and to be transparent in what we do with any information collected. Our privacy policy is designed to reflect this and our aim is to protect your privacy when you use our website. We, like most people, loathe spam and guarantee that we will not indulge in any such activity, nor wittingly provide your information to others who engage in such activities. Information we may collect about you

A - We may collect and use the following data from you:

A.1 - Information which you provide when you contact us, when you sign up to our newsletter, or when you enter our competitions. This information will only be used for the purposes specified when you provide it as follows:

A.2 - When you contact us we will only use your information to deal with your correspondence to us and to act accordingly, such as replying to you. We may also keep a copy of that correspondence for our records. We will not use or sell the information you provide for any other purpose.

A.3 - When you sign up to our newsletter, we will only use your information for the purposes of sending you information by email as specified when you chose to sign up to our newsletter. This information could relate to site updates and also products, services, or information which we feel might be relevant and of interest to you, where we have your consent to provide you with such information. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time and we will not send you any further information after that point. When you unsubscribe we will delete all of your personal information from our records.

A.4 - When you enter our competitions you may be asked to provide information at different stages as part of the competition, to help us administer the competition, and to distribute any prize awards. Any information you give us will only be used for the purposes of that competition, unless otherwise specified, and will not be used for any other purpose or sold to any other person or organisation. Once a competition is ended we will keep a record of the winner's details solely for our records and in case of any official enquiry asking us to confirm the correct administration of our competitions. At our discretion, we may publish the winner's first name and general location on our website, but we will notify you of this in the competition terms and conditions if that will be the case. At the end of the competition all other personal records will be permanently deleted from our systems.

IP Addresses and Cookies

B - We may collect and analyse data relating to IP address, web browsers used and pages visited. This is purely for statistical purposes and does not identify anyone individually. We use this data to help us find out which pages are popular and which pages could be improved in terms of our website user experience. You cannot be personally identified from this data, nor would we want to do this anyway.

The information cookies provide can help to improve website experience. You can adjust your browser settings to reject cookies for all or manually selected sites.

B.3 - We use Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet. Google use the DoubleClick DART cookie and you may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting this page.

B.4 - You can opt out of some, but not all, cookies from advertising networks in one location at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out website.

Unauthorised access of Information

C - Unfortunately there are individuals and criminal elements who are continuously seeking to unlawfully access information stored securely. We will do our best to protect any information we may collect from you , but we take no responsibility for any unlawful access to this or illegal breach of our systems. Sadly, in today's world, every transaction you make or site you visit could potentially be vulnerable to hacking or snooping and the transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure. We do recommend that you use an up to date virus and spyware checker on your computer to help you prevent unlawful access to your information.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

D - We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Disclosure to Government and it's Agencies

E - We may be required by law to give information to legal authorities, if they so request or if they have the proper authorisation such as a search warrant or court order.

F - You may check or update the personally identifiable information that we hold about you, by contacting us here. To better safeguard your information, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to, or making corrections to, your information.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

G - If this privacy policy should change in the future, in terms of how we use the information provided to us by you, our user, then we shall give notification in advance to all users who have provided any personal information to us that we have stored in relation to our newsletter, competitons and contacts. We will give the opportunity for all users to indicate whether or not they accept the proposed changes to what we may do with their information. We do not expect, however, to ever change our policy with regard to how we use your information, as we believe this would be incorrect and unethical, and would damage our credibility as an ethical website. Any small or semantic changes to our privacy policy, however, which do not affect how we store or use personal information given to us by you, our user, will be posted here and the date below updated to reflect this.
